The thing about overloaded amps is that it affects all channels at the same time. Even if you only have 1 strong channel, it might be enough to make all of your channels go away. The channel corruption is not limited to just the strong channels.

Yes, this can work, but you need to check a few things:
- The MS-2000 can only accomodate a mast diameter of up to 1-3/4". Make sure the mast is not too big for the mount attachment.
- Does the mount location give the antenna good visibility to the horizon in all directions? The antenna can't pull in the stations if the building is blocking the signals.
- Antennas work best when there is nothing around them. Make sure the antenna is clear of any obstructions as much as possible, especially anything metal.
