Noted the Yaesu doesn't come with the lower...

Noted the Yaesu doesn't come with the lower mounting bracket in place if you are using a mast. Odd, that you have to buy that separately. Any idea as to why?

Currently using a NTE U 106. Unfortunately it seems to be a light duty rotor and can't really handle larger antennas. It has to be reset too often.

Would either a Hy Gain AR 40 or Yaesu G-450a be...
