Antenna recommendation
I would like an antenna recommendation for Spring Valley, CA zip code 91977
signal analysis is http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...0b86e9fca982a1 Thanks! |
A simple solution for much of the San Diego area is a Winegard HD1080.
A premium solution for your exact location would be a 4-bay UHF facing 83° (compass) and a high-VHF pointing at 293° (compass). Combine the two using a UVSJ. 4-bay antennas: Antennacraft U-4000 Antennas Direct DB4e Channel Master CM-4221 Winegard HD-4400 high-VHF: Antennacraft Y5713 UVSJ: Pico Macom PM-UVSJ Radio Shack Model: 15-2586 |
Thanks for the quick response....as you can guess, I'm in the market for an antenna, so I can dump Cox Cable. Your info should be of help,as the area I'm in is a "special needs" area!

Tv antennas and Tv reception
A "special needs" area??

"Special Needs" area
LOL...yes, it's a special needs area. I'm in a hole (valley) with foothills surrounding on all sides, so difficult to receive stations with any regularity. That's why I went to cable in the first place, but they've gotten so out-of-control with their pricing that I've decided to switch back. I'm sure that the new antennas are far superior to the old and I'm hoping for better reception.
I know that I won't get all of the stations that I get with cable, but I'm sick of paying them well over $100.00 monthly, for stuff I don't even watch!!! |
Re: special needs... That's why TVFool is so useful. You're not as bad off as you thought.
