The house is 2 stories. Main TV on first floor and a second TV on the 2nd floor (although this does not need to be connected if it is a problem). http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...0b8656376709b8 THANKS! |

1 , 2 , 3 , 4 or more tv's is Ok. I collect information so as to design the system. Your reception location is Excellent , All of the receivable channels are , LOS = Line Of Sight , the best type of reception. Install a Winegard HD7082P antenna above the roof , no preamp or amplifier will be needed. Use a simple common 2 way splitter for the 2 tv's. Aim the antenna at about 85 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. Here are some Strong and Sturdy antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com. Tv antennas and Tv reception
Your location is great for Digital Broadcast Tv Reception. If you are one of the many that is still thinking about the old days of Analog broadcast Tv reception of a few channels that had bad Tv pictures , and you have not seen Digital Broadcast Tv yet. You are in for a real shock , the digital tv pictures will be crystal clear. I count 25 digital main channels and with the digital sub channels you will be receiving around 35 or more channels -> For Free! And if you get a ROKU or BOXEE internet streaming receiver , you will never use cable tv or satellite again.

WOW. You're awesome! Quick question. You mentioned "above the roof line"; does this mean I cannot put it in the attic?

Tv antennas and Tv reception
Mounting a antenna above the roof is better then in the attic , in the attic tv signals will be reduced of signal strength some and many attics have metal duct work and heating and airconditioning units in the attic that will be close to the antenna and disrupt reception. If the roofing is wood with standard composition shingles and no foil backed insulation. And you think that the antenna will fit in the attic pointed in the correct direction then Yes give it a try. I am doing my best to get you as many channels as possible without compromises. And Yes there are also advantages to putting a antenna in the attic , the antenna will last forever and it is not as dangerous as climbing on the roof.
