Hi, looking to 'cut the cable' and would appreciate any advice for antennas and mast height. I have a two story home with pretty much no obstructions all the way around. I had the home prewired for Satellite/Antenna and have five home run coax leading to a main junction box inside the house. The junction box has out 110 outlet and I had coax and Cat 5 run absolutely everywhere. I'm currently on Verizon FIOS for internet, phone and TV and want to do away with the TV and Phone but keep the internet.

A second antenna for the others, HBU-22 or HD-7694P. Height is not critical. |
Exactly what Tower Guy said, but a bit more explanation: Aim the broadband antenna ( the Winegard HD-7694P or the AntennaCraft HBU-33) at 170 degrees as measured by your compass: aim the AntennaCraft Y-5-7-13 at 270 degrees, and use a channel 10 Jointenna to combine the two antennas into one downlead. Be sure that the antennas are separated on the mast by at least 4', and you'll be fine. Jointennas are available very cheaply on Amazon.com:
