If you want reliable reception of the major networks, smaller UHF antennas would provide all except for NBC and PBS. To get NBC (WXII, real channel 31) will require a larger antenna such as the Antennas Direct XG-91 or Winegard HD-9032. PBS may be troublesome, to the point of needing a rotator or additional antenna and A/B switch.

If you are going to split to two or more sets, or if there will be more than 50' of coax run, you may need an amplifier. I'm reluctant to suggest one if you don't need it.

Thank you GroundUrMast :) I have been waiting for a reply for help. Its been many years since I invested in an antenna and I needed help in choosing what I would need. You were a great help. Have a wonderful weekend!

At your suggestion, I went with the uni-directional XG-91 and will use a rotator. Thanks.
