Central Valley hook up help

Hi There- I have paralysis by analysis in quest for OTA reception from the CA central valley. Glad to have found this forum as I can't decide between directional and multi, pre-amp, low noise, high or low VHF, etc. as to what is the best set up. :confused: I plan to do a rooftop installation with an 8 foot mast.

Here is my search result;

Any comments and suggestions would be much appreciated as I cancelled Comcast 2 weeks ago and I'm now off work for a couple weeks
....really don't want to re-subscribe to cable. THANKS!

Ok I recommend a Channel Master CM3016 antenna , no preamp needed , mounted on a CM9521A rotor. The largest group of Network stations all in one place is at about 311 degree magnetic compass. The other large group of Network stations is at about 85 and 101 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html , Here are places to buy antennas and etc. , http://forum.tvfool.com/solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.3starinc.com , http://www.channelmasterstore.com

Here are some tv guides , http://www.zap2it.com , http://television.aol.com , http://tv.yahoo.com , http://tv.entertainment.excite.com , http://www.tvzap.com , http://www.titantv.com. Most tv guides list the channels as the virtual channels.
