John's advise in your earlier thread is correct.
All of the stations in the green section of your TVFR should be viewable with a U4000 as John has suggested. The aim point is not 'cast in stone', but is a starting point... pan left and right to optimize, then tighten the clamps. In the unlikely event that you have some trouble with channel 12, addition of a Y5713 and a UVSJ would be the backup plan... I don't think you'll need that option. Stations in the red and gray sections of your TVFR would be challenging because they are weak signals and generally subject to adjacent and co-channel interference. If you want to get into the DX hobby, then your antenna system would be much different. |
