Central Wis reception
I have to replace my antenna and pre-amp. Currently I get the Wausau market, green bay and some of the Madison market. I'm going from 30' to 60' and have ~ 100 ft of RG-6 . I will be feeding 4 tunners. Do I need a distribution amp as well as a Pre-amp? My tvfool report is http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...03d97043830a61 .
Any advise would be appreciated as I only want to do this once. Yes there is also a rotor. |

Please make a radar plot with the antenna height at 25 feet. So I can see if the signal strengths drop that much.

I recommed a Winegard HD7698P antenna and Winegard HDP269 preamp. Connected to a Channel Master CM3414 , 4 way distribution amplifier. I would recommend trying the 30 foot antenna height first and see if you will receive all the channels you will like to watch.

At 60 feet there is a small improvement in the weaker channels , as an example WGBA-TV 41 NBC , goes from -3.9 NM(dB) at 25 feet to -0.2 NM(dB) at 60 feet , and the stronger stations at the top go from the yellow zone to the green zone. It is border line improvement. Is it worth going to 60 feet to get it ?? Well thats your decision. I recommend trying at 30 feet first.
