Antenna Advice Possible Attic Install FL

Hi Guys, I am in need of a decent antenna. It is possible that I would install it in the Attic. Or in the back yard (although I would the prefer the attic). I am not versed in this at all. Any help would be appreciated greatly and a great time saver for me. Back yard is on the northern side of the house.

Thanks in advance,
Robert

Tv Antennas and Reception

The Digital broadcast television transmissions are strong at your location. One of these indoor antennas at each Tv will work fine , http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=233 . Provided that the building is not wrapped with metal siding or a metal roof or poured concrete walls or brick from ground to roof. Here is how to point indoor Tv antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html , point the indoor Tv antenna at about 20 degree magnetic compass. . Or a Winegard Hd7694P antenna can be mounted in the attic and pointed at about 20 degree magnetic compass , the HD7694P will supply plenty of signal to 2 Tv's. Provided that the roof or walls are not made of metal. Here are some places to buy Tv antennas and etc.. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://3starinc.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.amazon.com

John C thanks just one more question

John thanks much for your help. I will go with the attic antenna. I would also like to add FM for my stereo. Should I just go with a little higher model of winegard that has FM??

Many Thanks,
Robert

For FM radio reception it is best to use a separate FM antenna and separate coax. The Winegard HD6010 antenna is for local reception , and the HD6055P is a directional antenna for long distance FM radio reception.
