Tv Antennas and Reception
Your location has many Tv stations that have strong transmissions all the way down to weak transmissions. For maximum reception of all the Tv stations in the direction of about 285 magnetic compass , I suggest a Winegard HD7082P all channel antenna. Here are places to buy Tv antennas and etc.. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.3starinc.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.amazon.com . Here is how to aim tv antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html

The Winegard HD7082P is a beauty for sure, but I am looking for a side mount antenna. The Wingard needs a roof or chimney mount. I want to mount the antenna on the side of my house which is why I looked at the the RCA HD751.

The RCA ANT-751 will do a fairly good job for you. It is not ideal if you want to reliably receive real channels 2 through 6. I suspect that real channel 4 (WPXO) will be OK due to the signal strength available, but real channels 2,3 and 6 further down the list may not be reliable.
I expect that most of the other stations in green and yellow on your TVFR will be received by the ANT-751. |

As all ways , Tv antennas receive the best when the Tv antenna has elbow room and nothing is blocking the front of the antenna or crowding in at the sides or back of the antenna.
