Antenna Choice for San Diego County
 

Hi,

What would be my best option for reception with this profile?

I would like to receive ABC, CW, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS at a minimum, anything else would be a bonus (MyTV, etc.)

I don't care if I get LA or San Diego. I would be mounted to the exterior of the house about 15 feet off the ground.

How motivated are you and what's your tolerance for experimentation with uncertain results?

Not real high in either case. Probably have to go with one of the satellite providers given my location. I just thought I would check to see if there was a relatively easy antenna solution.

That would be a satellite dish, they're antennas too. Easy, but does require a subscription, of course.

Really tough, although not impossible, location given terrain in both distances and the extreme distance to the LA towers on Mt Wilson.
