Situation:
- New house construction
- foiled faced OSB for roof sheeting
- brick and stone veneer
- 25 miles south of Charlotte NC

25 foot level

Ground level is assumed to be indoor antenna at the TV
25 foot level is either in the attic or on roof top

Questions:
- Is indoor location at the TV even a consideration?
- Is the attic location really a possibility given the roof sheeting and veneer type?
- If a roof top location, what is a suggested make/design that would be the least noticeable, as
- I assume I can easily pull in the Charlotte stations, but why go bigger/more elaborate to pull in the same stations (i.e. NBC, ABC, etc) from more distant cities? (what is the added value?)

Forget the attic unless there's another path of signal ingress. Radio signals do not pass through metal.

Depends on what's behind the masonry materials. If there's any metal lathe there, signals will not penetrate the walls, perhaps the windows will admit some signal (depends on whether low-E glass or wire screens are involved).

Depends on what's in that direction. If you have a clear view, it should be easy. If not, then it may not be so easy.

but why go bigger/more elaborate
"Bigger" usually means more directional which can complicate reception of scattered broadcast towers making a rotor necessary. Rotors have the potential to open several other cans of worms.
