Setting Up New Antenna
I have been using a Mohu Leaf 50 in the house and it does well; In fact it does better than the ANT751 that I purchased to replace it and have in the attic. My question, is there a way to maybe increase the reception with the ANT751 in the attic or should I just stay with the Leaf 50?
Would a preamp help? I may move it outside and I know this will help, but wonder how much. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Here is my signal map: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...8e0301a2346754 |
Outside as high as you can get it will "almost always" be better than in an attic. Roofing material and insulation can bounce/block signals in strange ways. Makes it very hard if not impossible to predict what you will get.

Thanks for the reply...
That is understood, but the HOA has rules. I may be able to set it outside where no one will really notice it, but would like to try to make it work in the attic first. |
