skew control and picking out new antenna

I just found a fix to my antenna reception problem. All I did was tilt it back about 10 degrees. So now its pointing up a little. Now im picking up 5.1 perfectly. Is there a way I can control this from inside, instead of climbing up on the roof every time I want to change stations.

And next I need a better antenna. right now im using a lava HD antenna. and its junk. my mount is a satellite deck mount bolted to my chimney with a 10' 1-3/8" fence top post bolted in it. ill change mounts if I have to but I cant afford to put up a tower right now.

Let's get the antenna spec'd correctly before we conclude the need for remote control of antenna tilt. You may find it's simply not needed.

thank you for the link

I want to drop my dish so I bought a cheap tv antenna.
This one:

exactly the same as the lava hd antennas except the elements are a different shape. I bought this because I didn't want to spend $350+ on a proper antenna setup if I wasn't going to get tv stations.
My biggest concern is channel 5.1 so I can get the news. But I would also like to get 12, 9, and 46 if possible. I was able to get channel 5 to come in by pointing my antenna up about 10 degrees. but if I try to get channel 9 now my antenna is pointing towards to ground. this is why I want to know how to tilt the antenna remotely. I realize that a proper antenna might fix this problem.

And finally what antenna setup would you recommend and would my mount work. I would say this is a deep fringe area.
thanks

DB4e aimed at 165 degrees. To add channel 9, a second CBS, add a VHF antenna using a tv preamp-1r.

thanks for the suggestion. That antenna should be able to mount on my existing antenna mount safely, and leave the lava antenna up for an fm antenna. Im not that impressed with its performance with tv (even though if the weather is good and night between 11:14 and 11:38 I can pickup channel 42 out of Canada 147 miles away). but I was using it to pickup 93.7 fm which according to fm fool is 130.9 miles away.
