Equipment recommendations for transmitters 70 miles away?

Hi. Thanks for a fantastic site here. Most helpful.

Here's my TVFool report:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...d2431078ef675b

I'd like to receive the major networks in the 204* and 195* magnetic direction. NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox. It would also be nice to receive the KJEP (23) station that's at 327*, but it's a much lower priority.

I'll be in an apartment with a clear view in the 204 and 195 direction. The nearest trees are about a quarter mile away. I have to mount the antenna on the supplied pole just outside the back door of the apartment, and I can't have the antenna higher than 15 feet. Apartment is already internally wired with coax, and it's about 25 feet from pole to TV.

Tough conditions, I know, but is it possible to receive the networks? DB8e?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Dave

Hi Dave,

Your chances are very good. Give it a try and let us know the results.
You might need to tilt the antenna aim slightly up.
