I just ordered this stuff, will it work?

Stuff:
A Winegard TA-1713 VHF high-band yagi plus
an AntennasDirect XG-91 mounted on the same mast, with the XG-91 mounted 4' above the YA-1713 on the mast. Combine the two antennas using a Channel Master Titan 7777 preamplifier

You should do well with the LA stations. The 7777 preamp may cause issues with some of the weaker stations though. I would probably have chosen the more tolerant Winegard 2870 instead of the 7777. I would also try without the preamp first to see what you get connected to just 1 TV & take it from there.

It looks good to me. The stronger stations are off axis, so the 7777 should be OK.

so when I put up these 2 antennas...do I point them in a certain direction?

302° compass appears to be the big group.
