Help !
My tv is on my sailboat in Belmont Harbor in Chicago. I'm less than
6 miles from the towers. I'm using an RCA ANT1450BR indoor antenna. The only network channel I get on a constant basis is channel 7(ABC). I do pick up 5 or 6 other channels but I sure would like to get the other network channels. Would another type of antenna help? http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...ec2fb0ac36b8de Thanks |
The 1450 is an amplified antenna. If you are using the amplifier, it is probably being overloaded by the very strong signals. Try it without the amplifier:

The signal strengths are Strong Signal Strengths at your location. Test reception without the antenna system amplifier. Disconnect and remove All Parts of the antenna system amplifier. ------------------- Here is a antenna that can be installed outside. http://www.channelmasterstore.com/SM.../cm-3000hd.htm. ------------------- Know this. Tv antennas and other antennas receive the best when the antenna is outside free of obstructions in the direction/s of reception. ------------------- Here is information about Mobile Digital Broadcast Tv Receivers. http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=14370. ------------------- http://www.firebird-systems.com.
