Help With Antenna Choice - Maine
I am looking for recommendations on an antenna. Below is my TV Signal Analysis Result at 20'. My camp has a metal roof and no attic. The camp is right on the pond with trees all around. I also listed the channels that would be great to get in order of preference. Any additional ones would be great, but I can't see it - lol
I have spent a fair amount of time researching your site. It has been very helpful. There are so many choices! I think I need a UHF antenna Mounted as high as I can and I would have a fair chance. Thank you all in advance and let em know if you need any more details. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c66a6c98f4d1 WPFO-DT WGME-DT WMTW-DT WCSH-DT WPXT-DT |
I'd suggest a DB-8E for UHF and a Y10-7-13 for VHF with a TV-PRAMP1R The key to weak reception of NBC and CW is a dual input preamp. That prevents overload of the UHF preamp by the strong PBS station on VHF.

The tvfool report is antenna height of 20 feet above ground. Do not delete the tvfool report that is 20 feet above ground and make and post 2 more tvfool reports , 40 and 60 feet above ground , so as to see if signal strengths improve of the weak signal strength Tv stations in the Red reception zone , and the 2 Edge Path Obstructions=hills/mountains , improve to 1 Edge or even LOS=Line Of Sight , reception. |
