Antenna Help for Ventnor NJ

Hi,

I am hoping I can get over the air stations from Philadelphia, the ones that show on the report below that are in green and down to WTXF-Fox

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...c77aee286dbc9a

I have no HD TVs today but may sometime in the future. I have three analog sets and one SDTV.

I have no antenna today.

I welcome any help provided, including do not waste my time and keep my Comcast cable.

I have a ranch type home and am looking to roof mount the antenna, my guess about 25 feet above ground level.

Thanks,

Fred

Reception of WTXF is complicated by the presence of WMPT on the same channel. You will need a large, highly directional, high gain antenna such as an Antennas Direct XG91 aimed at 332° (compass).

The XG91 is a UHF only antenna which will not work well for reception of WPVI (ABC) on real channel 6. You can install a second antenna such as a Winegard HD5030 which would cover WPVI as well as WHYY (ch-12) and the WMGM analog translator on channel 7.

If reception of WHYY and WMGM-LP are not important to you, you could use an Winegard YA6260 instead of the Winegard HD5030.

An Antennacraft 10G221 preamplifier has the separate UHF and VHF inputs needed along with the overload resistance and gain.
