Help! Cleveland, Ohio

My situation: I live in Cleveland, Ohio. If that is not enough (Based on our professional sports teams), my windows and deck face Lake Eerie (North). So the 8 story building I live in, as well as all of downtown is in my way to face the antenna the was it should be (I believe).

Here is the report I concluded:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46ae0608c020af

I currently have the Antenna Direct Clear Stream 2:
Antennas Direct C2-V-CJM ClearStream 2-V Long Range UHF/VHF Indoor/Outdoor DTV Antenna with 20-Inch Mount

Mounted on my deck and Facing Lake eerie/Canada (North Facing): with that setup, i get most of the channels but they are spotty, BUT DO NOT receive any CBS.

Any Thoughts on Improving my situation......??

Please double check you TV Fool report link, I believe I have successfully repaired it but it pays to be sure.

Fixed?

Not sure what was wrong with it..... I placed the coordinates in the parking lot behind the building because I couldn't pin it to my balcony....... but that location would be about accurate, except that I am 30 feet off the ground...

Additional info: I have tried the Mohu antenna, with no avail.

If the Tvfool report is correct.

The Tvfool radar plot report shows that the Tv stations are to the South.

You say that your building is a 8 story building??

And what floor is your unit on??

Are there any windows or patio/balcony windows to the South direction??

What obstructions are to the South direction??

If you have no view to the south...

It sounds as if you will need quite a bit more antenna... Enough to get a bounce off a building to the north of you.

If not for the obstructions, the C2-V would be an appropriate selection. At this point, you know that signal is available, but appears to be a mix of direct and reflected path copies...

I would consider stepping up to the largest 7-51 or 7-69 antenna that would fit in the available space. If i could find the space to accommodate it, the Winegard HD7698P would not be overkill. This is going to require some experimentation and patience to find the right aim point.
