Best Pre-amp For This Setup

I am wondering if a pre-amp will help my situation, and if so, what the best one is for my setup.

The problem I'm trying to solve - there is a channel or two that will occasionally get pixelated and “stutter.” It isn't a big deal, but annoying enought that I want to eliminate it permanently. Will a pre-amp help?

My information:
  • Channel Master CM 4221A 4-Bay Bowtie Antenna, mounted in the rafters in my garage
  • I am 28 miles from the towers, all the local channels use the same tower farm
  • The channels I want are in the “green zone” for signal strength, based on the TVFool map tool
  • I am at the bottom of a hill, with the towers over the hill
  • I have a 50 ft run of quad shield coax from the antenna to the 3-way splitter
  • The splitter then feeds 3 tuners

Post the TVFool link and identify the specific stations that give problems.

Is the signal path up the hill clear or are there obstructions such as trees or buildings?

Pratical Nd Useful Infomation.

Is this a , house , townhome , condo , apartment , mobile home , motor home , or etc.??

For help that is more then general guess ti mations.

Please provide a tvfool radar map and channel list report.

Use the Exact reception address to make the report.

Make the antenna height of the report , 25 feet above ground.

25 feet antenna height above ground is a reference antenna height that provides a good idea of what is receivable.

How many floors to the building??

What directions do , windows , patios , balconies , face??

Any big trees close to the building and what directions??
