Is getting a DB8 worth it?
 

I would like to pull in some of the station outside my area (Red) but I don't know if I should bother. I'm already getting good reception from an indoor antenna. Here my signal analysis.

Starting with digital channel WMOR are co-channel and adjacent channel warnings And the signals are very weak. Receiving one of the digital channels - without - a co-channel or adjacent channel interfering is very low. It looks like most of the Analog channels are being received. . If you will like to try for reception as a experiment then go for it.

It will cost me about 70 bucks for a DB8, kind of costly for an experiment. Maybe I should bulid one or get a DB2. Thanks for the feedback.

With a DB8, you might get sporadic reception of the Tampa-St Pete UHF stations whenever the atmosphere is "right".

However, with most of your adjacent and co-channel interfering channels being of comparatively higher power levels compared to the TSP signals (50-60 dB), it's not very likely your tuner will be able to sort it out.

A DB2 (with a VHF dipole for WINK, if needed) or a small U/V combo would work fine for your Ft Myers stations.

Thanks guys, you just saved me some money. As a joke I hooked up a cheap 5 dollar indoor antenna and put it on the roof. I'm pretty shocked that it worked so well outside. I was able to get all my local channels, I might try to water proof it and use it as roof top antenna.

Your local Digital and Analog channels are STRONG , Do Not use any type or kind of amplified antenna be it indoor or outdoor -->No amplifier. The only indoor antenna that works in my house is an amplified one. Never had any problems with.
