Best Antenna for Basement
Hi. I have an HDTV in our basement. We are currently using a TERK Omni Directional Amplified Antenna - Model #FDTV2A Digital Pro. We keep losing reception or when we do get reception...we don't get all of the channels. It sits in a window that has a small evergreen tree about 2 ft away and the antenna faces northeast. Short of having to install an outside rooftop antenna...is there anything we can do?
Thanks for your help! |
Please, do yourself a favor and move the antenna out of the basement.

As you Now Know.
The Basement is Not a Good Place for a Broadcast Tv antenna and Broadcast Tv reception. The Earth and the Building Down In The Ground , does a Excellent Job of Blocking Broadcast Tv reception. As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative effect on Broadcast Tv reception with a Tv antenna. ___________________ So that the helpers here at tvfool can be of some real and useful help. _________ Is this a , house , town home , condo , apartment , mobile home , motor home , or , etc.??
