Just wanted to start out by thanking anyone whom is willing to share there knowledge on this forum.

We are mainly looking for the channels in the 67 deg - 68 deg range (22, 32, 29, 45, 35, 23, 11, 34 and 9). There are a few channels in the 206 deg. range that would be nice to have, but if it would cost alot or make it a very complicated install to get them we would be ok without them.

Any recommendations on what equipment I would need would be appreciated!

When you click on the call sign of any station listed in your TV Fool report, you get to see a 'path profile'. This helps understand the terrain between the transmitter and your location. In your case, it appears you have flat terrain (no surprise in most of MN) so just a bit more mounting height may provide a significant improvement in signal conditions. Please post another report based on an antenna height of 25 or 30'.

Given the first TVFR, a simple single antenna solution would be a Winegard HD7694P pointed at about 40°. To feed more than one TV, you'll need a preamp and splitter. The Antennas Direct PA-18 is an option, though I would want to see the TVFR for the higher mounting location first. You may have enough signal power to run well with no amplifier. You may even find you have so much signal in the air, that an amplifier might be at risk of overloading.

There's not much risk of overloading a preamp. However, the conditions are improved enough that I would make the effort to mount at 25', you get 'cleaner', more reliable signal.

The HD7694P and PA-18 are still a very good option.

Chasing after the signals in the 206° azimuth would call for a larger antenna, or antennas. One could use a rotator, though in multiple TV homes aim point becomes a point of contention. A simple reception situation.

Above the Peak Of The Roof in such a manner that the roof and house are not blocking reception to the , east/north east , south/south west.

Install a Winegard HD7698P antenna aimed at about 50 degree magnetic compass direction.

Install a Winegard HDP-269 preamp.

For 1 tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a , HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

The HD7698P antenna can also be turned by hand to Test reception of the , south/south east Digital Tv stations/channels.

Aim the HD7698P antenna at about 192 degree magnetic compass direction.

Rescan fo Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels.

Tv antenna rotators Are Not channel surfing friendly , must wait for antenna to rotate and there Will Be Domestic Situations about the direction the antenna is aimed.

If You Will like to receive the Digital Tv stations channels of both directions.

The install 2 SEPARATE Antenna Systems.

Both antenna systems will be the same setup as described above.

The 2 SEPARATE antenna systems Will Not be connected to each other.

The 2 SEPARATE antenna systems are Separate all the way to the Tv locations.

At each Tv location will be a Remote control A/B antenna switch.

A/B antenna switching Is Channel Surfing Friendly , press the button on the Hand Held Remote Control , change antennas and Keep On Channel Surfing.

If install ing 2 Separate antenna system , separate the 2 HD7698P antennas by about 3 feet on the same mast.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , do a good job of , absorbing , multi-path/reflecting , blocking , Digital Broadcast Tv reception , and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and house.

It is best to install the HD7698P antenna at a location that has the least smount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup M<enu and select , 'Air Channels' / 'Antenna Channels'.
