Antenna Advice

HI-

I'm trying to determine which antenna might best fit my uses. Here is the map:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...cc49477fbc158e

Most channels I'm interested in are UHF with PBS (7) and ABC (13/4.1) being exceptions. Currently I've got decent reception on the major networks with an indoor LEAF (patchier on Fox = 28/28.1), but I'd like to improve it with an outdoor antenna. An added incentive for that antenna is that I'm moving my TV to the basement, which I think will necessitate using an outdoor antenna. I believe I can mount that new antenna off my chimney pretty easily and I'd like it to be fairly discrete if possible. Can someone help me with the best antenna option in my situation?

Thanks in advance!

The RCA ANT-751 or Antennas Direct CS2-V both come to mind.

Thanks GroundUrMast, that's very helpful! I'll check those two options out.

Install the ANT751 antenna above the roof in such a manner that the roof or house is not blocking reception to the , north east , east , south east.

Aim the ANT751 antenna at about 65 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of , reflecting , reducing , blocking , Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own house.

It is best to install a antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own house.

That's very helpful detail teleview, thanks! I'll give that antenna a shot and hopefully it will work well for us. I really appreciate it.

For 1 Tv connected use no splitter. No preamplifier.

For 2 Tv's connected use a common simple 2 way splitter. No preamplifier.

For 3 Tv's connected use a common simple 3 way splitter. No preamplifier.
