The changes to the virtual channel mapping have been done.

The pending (post-transition) transmitter data (radiation pattern and other specs) for CIVT and CHAN do not seem to be in the Industry Canada database yet, so we will not be able to add them to the pending database now.

FYI, these changes should take effect immediately on any newly generated reports.

Their permission to broadcast on 32 at 33kW is listed under CIVT-DT(1). I.e. they are already authorized to broadcast on 32 in digital at that ERP.

CHAN-TV has received approval to increase its signal on channel 22 with an average effective radiated power (ERP) of 22,000 watts (maximum ERP of 40,000 watts with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 656 metres).

CRTC Approvals for CKVU and CHNM
 

CRTC has approved two digital transmitters for CKVU, one for Vancouver and one for Victoria. The Vancouver transmitter will operate on channel 33 with an average effective radiated power (ERP) of 4,300 watts (maximum ERP of 8,300 watts with an effective height of antenna above average terrain (EHAAT) of 670 metres). The Victoria transmitter will operate on channel 27 with an ERP of 1,647 watts (maximum ERP of 2,750 watts with an EHAAT of 99.6 meters).

The CRTC has approved an application by Rogers Broadcasting for post-transition transmitters for CKVU-TV in Vancouver and Victoria. The CRTC has approved an application by Zoomer Media Inc., on behalf of the Christian Channel Inc., for CHNU-TV Fraser Valley by adding post-transition digital transmitters in the Fraser Valley (CHNU-DT) and Victoria (CHNU-DT-1). The Fraser Valley transmitter will operate on channel 47 with a maximum ERP of 21,400 watts at 335 meter HAAT and Victoria on channel 21 with a maximum ERP of 3,500 watts at 94.4 meters HAAT.
