Best Antenna Advice

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c6965bb7e1eb

I want to be able to receive ABC, Fox, CBS, and NBC. I can place this on my roof, but would prefer attic -- but understand roof x10>attic

Willing to build or buy an antenna. I appreciate any and all advice!

I don't think an attic installation is going to give you a good shot at the major networks.

I'd suggest a two antenna system. First, an Antennas Direct DB8E facing east... There are two sections that can be aimed independently. I'd start with one facing 110° and the other facing about 65°. The second antenna would be an Antennacraft Y10713 pointed at 13°.

Use an RCA TVPRAMP1R preamplifier, which has inputs for each antenna. The DB8E connects to the UHF input, and the Y10713 connects to the VHF input. Set the configurations switches to "VHF/UHF = SEPARATE" and "FM TRAP = IN".

Mounts outside, clear of obstructions such as trees and structures.

The tvfool report is not showing any antenna height above ground.

Do not delete the tvfool report that is not showing any antenna height above ground.

To see how much the signal strength improves with a higher antenna height please make and post a tvfool report with the antenna height 25 feet above ground.

25 feet antenna height above ground is a reference antenna height that provides a good evaluation of what Tv stations/channels are receivable.
