Best Antenna
 
Please give me your recommendations for the best indoor and/or outdoor antenna based on the below analysis. My terrain is flat with trees being the only obstruction.

So if you were to mount an antenna on the roof, what's the view to the east look like? That's where most of your good signal will be coming from, so the least amount of obstruction there will be good. A big leafy canopy can bust up the best of signals, especially on a breezy day. If you can go over them, that's good, but sometimes that's a big challenge in itself. If limbed up enough, you can possibly shoot under them, like through a small stand of pines. Distance between the antenna and the trees helps too.

For reception of ->Many<- Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels.

Above the Peak of the Roof in such a manner that the roof and building are not , obstructing , impeding , blocking , reception in the directions of , East , West South West.

Install a Antennas Direct DB8e antenna.

The DB8e antenna has , 2 , 4 bay bowtie antenna panels that can be aimed in any direction.

Aim 1 panel at about 90 degree magnetic compass direction.

Aim the 2nd panel at about 281 Degree magnetic compass direction.

Also install a Antenna Craft , Y10-7-13 antenna aimed at about 253 degree magnetic compass direction.

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna.

For 1 or 2 Tv's connected a antenna system amplifier will most likely not be required.

The DB8e UHF antenna and the Y10-7-13 VHF high band antenna are connected together with a UVSJ=UHF/VHF antennas combiner.

The DB8e is connected to the UHF connection of the combiner.

The Y10-7-13 is connected to the VHF connection of the combiner.

The remaining connection of the combiner goes to the 1 Tv location or 2 way splitter.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and building.

Absorbing and Blocking Reception.

Multi-Path Reflecting Tv Signals Bouncing All Around.

The Best Practice is to install the antennas at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and building.
