Recommendation for antenna(s)

Hi all. I'm moving to a new condo with an HOA. I don't want to get into any pissing matches with anyone right off the bat so I'm going to try to put my antenna(s) in the attic and hope for the best. The zip will be 06478. Now, one station that is important is WTNH (high VHF) and I'm thinking about the RCA outdoor yagi style antenna because I've been using one of these in zip 06614 and it works great. All of my other stations are UHF, and most in the same general direction. I was thinking either a Clearstream 4 Max or a DB8e, but, would there be any advantage in using 2 UHF antennas in hopes of picking up some stations from the south.
Thank you for any guidance you're able to offer.
Shawn

Hello, Shawn; thank you for the report.

The TVFool reports aren't as accurate as they used to be. Based on an estimate of your location, here is a report from rabbitears.info:
https://www.rabbitears.info/searchma...tudy_id=242706

You can do your own report at this site (I use coordinates from Google maps)
https://www.rabbitears.info/searchmap.php

Not an ideal location for OTA, Shawn. Fortunately, WTNH is the strongest listed channel.

Thanks Rabbit. What stinks is I'll be much closer to most of the UHF transmitters than I currently am. Thing is, although I currently live in a big hole I'm above the roof line. I guess time will tell. I won't be able to get into the new place until July.

How it's going

Hi all. I moved and have been in the new place for 2 months now. Wound up going with the the ClearStream 4 TV for my UHF and the RCA Yagi for VHF (WTNH) in the attic. I purchased a ClearStream Juice pre-amp, an A.D. VHF/UHF combiner and an A.D. 4 port distribution amp. The antennas are mounted in the attic. Without the Juice pre-amp I was able to p/u 40+ channels. When I installed the Juice I lost reception, so I returned that. I'm currently getting 40+ channels. Reception of some stations have been pixelating with the leaves dropping so I had to move the C.S. 4 but have been OK since. Thank you all so much for your guidance with this process.

Thank you for the update. Glad you are doing better, Shawn.

There might have been an overload problem with the Juice and the distribution amp.

Trees will block the signals.

This is a rabbitears.info report for your new location based on your TVFool report:
https://www.rabbitears.info/searchma...tudy_id=387362

but I think this one is more accurate because it's in the new condo area:

If you can't pick up PBS from Hartford, you might need a 2nd antenna for PBS from Stamford.
