What Antenna would be best for my location?

I live at 4180 Stapleton Rd Morristown TN 37813.

Am thinking about buying an Antennas Direct 91XG or a Televes DAT BOSS LR Mix Antenna Yagi Directional Outdoor HD; UHF; VHF TV Antenna. Which antenna would you think would be best for my location? Or, is there another antenna that may be better? I am planning on putting the Antenna in the basement in front of a window that faces West.

Any help would be appreciated!

You are not in a location that is likely to have any reception with an antenna located in a basement window.

Why would anyone, in their right mind, put an antenna in the basement?
Oh wait, I think I answered my own question......

I see no problem with asking a question if you don't know the answer. That's how we learn. Many people are not as familiar with the line of sight aspect of VHF and UHF television signals as most of the members of this forum.

Here is the link to the OP's RabbitEars report:

Cotton, looking at your signal report it looks like the Knoxville stations to your west might be difficult to pick up at your location. Seems there is a big hill or ridge about a mile to your west that is having a detrimental effect to the signals. It is very doubtful that an antenna in any of your windows would work.

RabbitEars shows your Knoxville signals as "Poor" and to have any chance of getting them would most likely require a large UHF antenna such as the 91XG you mention plus a VHF-Hi antenna such as a Stellar Labs 30-2476 and they would need to be outside as high as possible. Even then I would think it would be highly unlikely to get reliable reception from Knoxville based on your signal report. I could be wrong, but that's my guesstimation.

That would not be a very good location for an antenna, Cotton.

The issue here is someone who makes little to no effort in trying
to research facts. Far too many want "instant gratification"
in getting answers. Rabbit, yourself and others take the time,
effort to make recommendations and then never hear back from
an individual....... In this case, it's been over a week..........
