It would have to be the 91XG, because that is the same direction as for KGO RF7, I think.

I really like that XG91, it fixed some multipath dropouts on KPIX RF29 VC5.1 compared to when I had the DB4e aimed at Mt. Sutro. I would probably like to keep it.

But the DB4e points at Mt. Allison. What you suggest could well work . . . or it might not. KGO RF7 is 19dB noise margin, and I am behind a hill in a multi-path situation. It may be surest to sledgehammer it with high antenna directivity and gain. After the re-pack there will be two VHF stations in SF, KGO is moving to 12, and KRON to 7.

Remove the upper and lower reflector rods, leaving just one; its 33-1/8 length should be sufficient for channel 7.

This is an interesting idea. Probably the most ideal thing to do would be to find another location for the DB4e, I have a good location for an eave mount. Overdoing it :D

If the VHF dipole is not mounted on the DB4e reflector, it can be aimed in any direction you want.

Are you using a Fieldfox handheld VNA/SPA?
Yep, it's a Fieldfox N9923A VNA.

BTW, the specs for the MCM antenna say it's 60" long.
