Newnan, GA Antenna Help

Looking for assistance in selecting an appropriate antenna for the Newnan, GA / Cowetta County area. I plan to replace my current DirectTV Dish with an outdoor antenna. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the location for my TVFool reception guide.

TIA

Looks very good for reception so far. Would be better to have a radar report with an exact address. Street level may not be the most accurate information. Also how many Tv's will be connected??

John,

Thanks so much for the quick reply.... We will be connecting 2-3 TVs. We live in a 'so called' Smart House. With CAD6 wiring. We've just gotten rid of DirectTV and was paying for 6 boxes...(rent for a small family) We are still trying to determine what antenna, etc and how to set up. My Hubs is an electrician and actually helped the DirectTV tech(newbie) to wire our HD TV, so he is pretty hands on, but this is a bit new for him. Any ideas, suggestions you can give would be fantastic!

Again thanks again, and TIA!

Sorry only answered part of your reply.

I put in our addy several times, but only got a response with the zip. The sub-division is fairly new, many friends that attempt to visit us have problems with GPS and/or Google Maps as well. I can provide it necessary perhaps you 'll have better success than I did. Again TIA

I suggest a Winegard HD7694P antenna aimed at about 23 degree magnetic compass. And a Channel Master CM3414 , four way distribution amplifier at the place where all the coax cables come to. Put a 75 ohm F terminator on any unused output ports of the distribuation amplifier. Here are places to buy Tv antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.3starinc.com

The way to make radar map without exact address is , go to the >>Start MAPS<< part of tvfool. Move the pointer to the receive location (your house) and then click on the make radar map button.
