Trouble picking up fox!

All,

I stay in Las Colinas, Irving, Tx. Zip is 75039. According to the guide, I should be getting all local channels without any problem. However, I am unable to receive KDFW and WFAA. While not getting wfaa might be because my antenna is not good with VHF signals, I dont understand why I am unable to receive fox-kdfw. I get other channels near that spectrum.

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated, as I don't want to give 90 bucks a month to cable companies. I stay in an apartment with nearest window
To antenna facing east/southeast.

I have tried with rca 1450br and rca 1600r.

Can you post a link to a report for your exact address? Some neighborhoods are shadowed by local hills, and without an address-specific analysis, it's hard to tell whether this is a factor for you or not.

What floor is the Apartment??

What is the Top floor of the building??

Please make a tvfool radar report plot.

Use the Exact address of your location.

Make that antenna height 25 feet.

I live in the third floor of a four story apartment. NEarest window faces east/southeast.

Latest scan just now gets 32 channels, including Nbc, cw, cbs, txa21, ion etc.

Still no abc and fox.

Perplexed!

The following is a Teleview recommendation for broadcast Tv reception.

The Main group of Digital Tv transmitters is to the South with a few a little more to the south east.

Install a Trek HDTVi (not the HDTVa) indoor antenna in a preferably south facing window for best reception , also so can put the HDTVi antenna in the south east window.

A long length of coax can go from the antenna to the Tv.

Aim the HDTVi antenna at about 181 degree magnetic compass.

Here is how to aim indoor type antennas. http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Rescan for Digital Broadcast Tv Channels.
