Televes DATBoss MIX LR vs Stacked Winegard 9095 + Antennacraft Y10-7-13 + Winegard AP-8275 Preamp

The DATBoss comes with an integrated preamplifier which dynamically adjusts the over all gain to appropriate levels in order to avoid overloading.
Its maximum VHF gain is 28dB
And maximum UHF gains is 27 dB.
The Winegard AP-8275
UHF 29dB
VHF 28dB
Both my local and fringe transmitters will be used in the testing.
Local transmitters Are at 60 degrees and range from 4.9 and 6.9 miles out.

One note. RF14 is a side lobe measurement. It is actually coming in from around 14 degrees in Virginia.

Fringe transmitters will be shot at 260 degrees and are 100-120 miles out.

The local topography is steep with intervening mountain ranges.

All the transmitters are 1 and 2 edge.

The Spectrometer I will be using is a Televes H30D3

A Winegard LS-275C splitter is being used.

Testing was done on 2 different days.

Fringe transmitters were tested on day 1

Day 1 was Inclement, overcast, rainy and had thunderstorms.

Local transmitters were tested on day 2.

Day 2 was partly cloudy and with nice conditions.

A couple of pictures of the antennas in play and the lay of the land of my transmitters.

The following are traces that I let generate over night to show that the signals on both the DAT and 9095 were fairly consistent.
Otherwise it is the same as the traces above. I just let the 9095 run long to balance out against the initial DAT trace on the left side.

Conclusion.
After looking over all of the results.
There is no question that under my particular conditions, in mountainous terrain, the DATBoss LR Mix holds it own against the venerable Winegard 9095, Antennacraft Y10-7-13 and the Winegard AP-8275 preamp.

This becomes more notable when you take into context of the Televes design being far more compact.

Now will the Televes DATBoss MIX LR be a solution for all occasions?

There is always a caveat

We must always remember that every individuals situation is different both regionally and geographically.

Also this particular antenna is not VHF LO capable.

Certain circumstances may dictate a different choice in equipment.

However.
This particular model is a contender for choice in circumstances that allow for it.

How would anyone trust anything you say????
How much is Televes paying you to "compare" their products???
Your supposed "tests" and "comparisons" are laughable, just
like you!

Counter.
How much is Winegard and Channel Master paying you to troll my threads?

Well unfortunately for you.
Your are not posting anything of substance that the audience would have to waste any mental energy on in considering what if anything you say is trustworthy or not. :)

Perhaps you've heard of a conflict of interest or impartiality?????
I have absolutely no connection to any antenna or electronic distributor
or manufacturer. Simply, I install television/radio antennas and have
done so for many years. Since you have not declared your independence
from Televes, we can only assume your "comparisons" and reviews are
skewed to make your employer, Televes, look good. I do have a DAT Boss
Mix LR ordered and will judge for myself how it performs, how it is designed and
engineered and how durable it might be. I hate buying chinese crap and hope
I'm pleasantly surprised. In closing, Is your name, "SEV" short for several
cards short of a full deck????

Oh contraire.
If you are an installer you have an affiliation with every manufacture you use. Especially if you are purchasing direct.

Generally speaking if you are a DBA, S or C corp you will have an account with either the manufacture directly or one of their distributors. Assuming you are not a distributor or wholesaler yourself.

Of course if you are an installer that purchases his products from Walmart, Menards or Lowes for cash that might be a different matter entirely.

So when I start doing shootouts involving Winegard vs CM vs AD vs anybody else.
And I am using Kitztech, Winegard, CM, AD preamps along with Televes.
Who am I going to be the lucky employee of the month for?

Seems to me you are only one embarrassing yourself here by making personal attacks and unsubstantiated accusations.

As you are a businessman. Supposedly.
It is quite unprofessional and telegraphs a certain impression about your ethics or possible lack there of.

PS.
Since you asked so nicely.
I have no affiliation contractually or employment wise with any telecommunications company at this point in time.
