Advice/recommendations... can i do this?
Here is my report...
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...5134641c3dc2c2 Right now we have comcast (argh)... two TVs wired under the house with easy access. I would love to get rid of cable tv and just use them for internet. Does it look like I can receive the major networks with an attic mounted antenna? If so, any recommendations as to what I might look for? I don't want to dive into this blind or end up wasting time and money if my results may be questionable. Thank you all for any help/guidance you may offer up! Bob |
If you look at the TVFool report those are all in Yellow or Green, presuming you want the 4 major OTA networks, plus PBS. With them in those bands, at the bottom of the report it says that an attic antenna is probably needed, vs a set top box.
With that said, are there any unusual building materials or object in the direction of the main towers? Metal roof, foil backed roofing material, large concrete building next door? |

Any trees in the signal path from the east?
Be careful with those nails. |

Will one antenna pick up from the three towers at 68, 81, and 93 degrees?
