John,
Good morning. Thanks again for all that you are doing for me to help me make the right choice. Please let me know if there is any other information you need. I have some errands to do but will be back by mid afternoon to check messages. |
Tv Antennas and Reception
Due to the multipul directions of the Tv transmitters it will only be possible to receive all the Tv stations with one antenna and a rotor. For one Tv thats Ok but for more then one Tv , conflict can happen over what direction the the antenna is pointed. Most of the Tv transmitters can be received with one antenna and No rotor, but not all. I suggest Winegard MS 2000 with no rotor mounted on the roof. The MS 2000 is a omnidirectional antenna , but even so it will likley not receive all the Tv stations. Here is a eave roof mount that might work with your situation , Is there a peak of the roof where this eave mount can be put at the back of the house?? http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html . If you or you and a helper are going to be doing this then youall will need to come up to speed very fast. Being helpless every step of the way will not cut it. If you will like to have some one that installs antennas do it then I suggest one of these , http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=1327

Tv Antennas and Reception
If you will like to install a antenna and rotor then I suggest a Winegard HD7694P antenna and a Channel Master CM 9521A rotor. I make the point again , not scare you off , however you or you and someone else must come up to speed very fast. Here are places to buy tv antennas and etc. , http://solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://starkelectronic.com , http://www.3starinc.com

Yes, I am help-less meaning there is no one here to help. However, that is something I am accustomed to. I do my own research and then hire out. I do things slowly and methodically to avoid costly mistakes especially when exploring a topic unfamiliar to me. You have given me all the information you can which I appreciate. I will ponder all the options and go from there. I also will post a request or search for an installer in my area in the appropriate thread. Thanks for your suggestions. |

If a ANT 751 by itself doesn't work, ADD a Y5-7-13 and a channel 10 Jointenna. http://www.warrenelectronics.com/ant...Jointennas.htm (You won't have to return anything.) |
