Teleview - no, it didn't, but I asked them if that was the correct transformer and was told yes.

In place of the C2v install a Antennas Direct DB8e antenna. Aim 1 panel at about 290 degree magnetic compass direction aim the other panel at about 169 degree magnetic compass direction. The Pico Macom and Blonder Tongue are interchangeable UVSJ's. The CM matching transformer is standard matching transformer. I am curious because Tv antennas usually come with a matching transformer. |
I don't think it's the antenna. As I said, when I had only the C2V hooked up thru the preamp, I got the UHF channels full strength. Seems like there is interference somehow through the the combiner. I just don't know enough to know if it's just a crappy combiner or it's a function of all combiners that you lose that much signal strength by using them.

You can try a different UVSJ , the price is low. http://www.3starinc.com/uvsj_uhf_vhf...or_joiner.html. http://www.3starinc.com/manuals/Filters-Diplexers.pdf -------------------------- The signal loss of UVSJ's is very low at less then 1dB. |
