On second thought, I'm thinking about getting a tripod mount and just doing it on the roof. I'll have to get some pitch pads to seal it, but that doesn't seem to be awful. That would also allow me to mount it higher up than I otherwise would've been able to and get better reception. Lastly, I'll be able to work on my roof the entire time instead of on a ladder.

I just put up my antenna and grounded it with #10 copper cable. Everything seems to be working great and I get crystal clear TV reception. I appreciate the help I got from this forum.
