channel 45 (59.1) issues

I just recently purchased and cm2018 and have it mounted right around 20 ish feet. i am having no issues with any of my other channels but wxin my fox affiliate here in central Indiana keeps cutting in and out. the signal strength is right around 97% and it jumps all the way down to 0% and then back up and kinda fluctuates between 82% and 87% then back up to 97%. haven't had any issues with this channel untill today. i have it pointed to approximately 213.

Any ideas of what i should be looking for or what could be causing interference.

The interferrence that you described in narrow band. This eliminate many sources such as electrical interferrence. This leaves the possibility of any device in your home such as a modem, or any wirless device being used. Anything new? Next and more difficult it could be something in your neighborhood. GPS, remote monitoring, ect.

Good luck!

I think I figured it out. I was aimed right at a tree so I turned it to about 225 and it seems to have helped enough that the signal isn't dropping below 87 now. But it still fluctuates between 97 and 87% alot.....I can't wait till I cut that dumb tree down.

Removal of the tree will probably provide a permanent solution.

You might try a different mounting location for the antenna first as that may preserve the benefits of the tree.

I have had plans to remove the tree before the antenna came around. It drips sap on the cars anyways.
