Antenna for channels from the north; Baldwin MD

What would be a good antenna to get 4 channels from the north? The antenna would go at 24’.

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46aee41a4056ed

I would like to get
WGAL Real 8 (True 350)
WCCB Real 30 (True 351)
WPMT Real 47 (True 352)
WLYH Real 23 (True 3)

(Aside: TV fool may be overestimating the signal on WPMT; rabbit ears predicts the WPMT signal strength to be closer to the WLYH signal strength. Just pointing a spare antenna I had lying around seems to agree with the lower strength on WPMT than predicted.)

********

I am using 2 HD-4400’s ganged into an 8800 to get my Bal/DC UHF stations. I have an Y10-7-13 to get the Bal/DC VHF stations. With that setup, I am getting stations down to WETA in the south west direction.

I want a separate antenna system to get the 4 stations from the north. I will use separate tuners, WMC and WMC extenders to get all the channels to my TV’s.

The north antenna needs to be at 24’ because of spacing constraints with my Bal/DC antennas.

Pratical and Useful Information.

Install a Channel Master CM4228HD ,UHF/VHF antenna aimed at about 14 degree magnetic compass direction.

The CM4228HD is designed to receive the UHF channel band , channels 14 thru 51.

And the VHF channel band , 7 thru 13.

--------------

If required to improve reception.

Install a Winegard , LNA-200 'Boost' XT amplifier.

--------------

Installing the CM4228HD is better then installing a UHF only antenna design.

WGAL channel 8 should be received with the dual band CM4228HD.

If WGAL is not received well with the CM4228HD.

Then ->Also<-install a Antenna Craft Y10-7-13.

Aim the Y10-7-13 antenna at about 1 degree magnetic compass direction.

Use a UHF/VHF combiner , EU385CF-1s , www.solidsignal.com .
To combine the , CM4228HD and Y10-7-13 , antennas.

Teleview,

What is your reasoning to install an 8 bay antenna instead of a HD7697/8 type antenna?

What makes the 8 bay preferable over a combo antenna?

Thanks,

Pratical and Useful Information.

Your information about the combination of 2 4 bays in to a 8 bay , got my mind stuck in the 8 bay mode.

Interesting how the mind works.

Shows I am not perfect.

The HD7697/98P will work better the 8 bay antenna etc. .

-------------------

Might not require a antenna system amplifier.

Test reception without a antenna system amplifier.
