Live in a heavily wooded area with all stations towers i am interested in getting located within 1 mile of each other approx 62 miles from my home. terrain i basically level with no nearby metal buildings. one station is high vhf band (11), the rest are in uhf. only have 1 tv connected and have a mast on house with ability to mount antenna approx 25 feet off ground. total coax cable lenth 50 feet. would appreciate suggestions!
Nice information , however the Most Important Information is missing , http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=4 , As others have done , do not post a picture of the tvfool radar report , post the real live and active radar report.
thanks, just ordered what you suggested. do you think an amp will be needed or should the antenna suffice alone? i really appreciate you sharing your expertise.
If the antenna is behind trees at 60 miles, your UHF reception will likely fail. You'll need one of these unless you can get a clear an unobstructed view to the southern horizon:
A pre-amplifier is strongly recommended in any event.
