Which antenna - 92027

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what antenna to get for:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e779cc2973f4d8

and get the vhf stations (8 and 10) at 210 degrees, and the
uhf stations (18, 19, 30, and 40) at 167 degrees. This will be going to 2 TVs,
and I can either mount it in the attic (preferred) or outside if needed. Would
I also need to rotate the antenna to handle these 2 directions, or would a stationary
one work? Thanks!

I forgot to mention that one antenna that I was looking at was the winegard
FD-HV30, but that seemed like it might be on the low side of receiving the
signals and didn't seem to be able to handle both directions at the same time.

Tv Reception.

The following is a Teleview Recommendation for Broadcast Tv Reception.

Here are some Strong and Sturdy antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsgnal search box.

Here are places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.amazon.com.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

___________________________________

The Digital Tv stations/channels to the north west are Very Weak.

As a Test of reception you can aim the HD7698P antenna at about 320 degree magnetic compass direction.

greetings from 92029

I'm across the freeway from you in 92029. I think you're going to want to be on the roof clear of any near field obstructions. Looking at the terrain profiles, you're in a bit of a shadow from the towers. I can tell you from experience XETV (CW) is going to be a problem, too.

You may find benefit from using a VHF only and UHF only antenna in combination since all your VHF is coming from one bearing. You can point the VHF one directly at 198 degrees, and the UHF at 155. That may give you the additional margin you need for a consistent signal (you'll discover that a 95% reliable signal is essentially unwatchable). Combining a UHF and a VHF is pretty straightforward.

Something like a DB4e and a AntennaCraft Y5 would probably do it. You can get them at a variety of places, but SolidSignal is tough to beat on price.

A two antenna solution is often chosen in the San Diego area.

I would opt for the DB4e and Y10713, a UVSJ and a CPA-19.
