2 antennas connected in parallel?

hi guys well my damn rotator failed again,now i just took it out for good and i'm thinking of getting a 8 bowtie and put it under my existing directional antenna

Can i connect both in parallel?

Unfortunately, I don't think this works too well, unless you get some special equipment.

If you only need 1-2 channels from a different direction, Tin Lee out of Toronto makes a channel insert-er.

The Bowtie antenna you linked can be pointed in two directions (note the hinge).
