Antenna recommendations Woodbridge ON

Hello I would appreciate any ideas and suggestions with regard to where
to start to absolute beginner.

After talking to Rogers customer service I am planning to part with them
(have basic plan , mostly local news channels, some Buffalo, and pay $55 monthly).
It is about 15 mls to CN Tower and so far we have quite residential area, even though 6 stories condos could be coming.

The tvfool report generated here
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c651ea723a50

I also found on the forum an answered question from somebody who lives in Vaughan ( Woodbridge is part of Vaughan)
http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.p...hlight=Toronto
,just curious if any other ideas come in mind, especially considering antenna
Product Length 85 inches
Product Height 23.5 inches
Product Width 43.5 inches
I live in town house and I think I could face size restrictions.

Thanks in advance

What stations do you want?

The Toronto stations are all at 144 degrees magnetic and would be pretty easy to receive (all are UHF except CFTO Ch 9). If those are sufficient, I'd try an inexpensive indoor antenna before spending more.

The Buffalo stations are at 158 & 150 degrees magnetic, but weaker. Something like a DB8e might get you most of the Buffalo UHF stations. That's quite a bit since most have sub-channels.

Others with more knowledge will comment soon.

Answering question how many channels e would like to receive:
all the local channels + plus as many others as possible
I guess to start somewhere within ($100-125) budget to see how it is going on.

Given
we can install antenna outdoor 25-30 ft ( for better reception)
I would prefer to ho with outdoor antenna and may be extend it later on.

The only limitation I can see is the size we live in townhouse condo.

Thanks , would appreciate your thoughts

My recommendation is the same.

You can install the Antennas Direct DB8e antenna now.

Then at a later date install the Y10-7-13 antenna.

Ordered DB8e

Some update :
just have ordered DB8e( figured gives me a better chance), and planning on installing in the attic , could anybody please comment with regard to antenna direction:
I.e. I have signals magnetic 144 ( CN Tower 15 mls distance) and 158 (Buffalo, 75 mls distance).
I understand it all comes to testing and adjusting, it is just how you typically point in cases like this , when you have two sources of the signals and relatively small angle in between.

Should I start pointing in between 144 and 158 magnetic first?

Thanks in advance

DB8e worked as a charm

Antenna pointed towards CN tower and Bufallo (between 144 and 158 magnetic)
Installed in the attic 50 ft cable run to splitter, at the splitter added two 20 ft cables which run to 2TVs with ATSC tuners.
Getting:
------------------------------
Network CHNL VCHNL
------------------------------
TVO CICA 19 19.1
CTV CFTO 9 9.1
GTN CIII 41 41.1
OMNI CFMT 47 47.1
OMNI CJMT 40 40.1
CityTV CITY 44 57.1
CW WNLP 32 23.1
PBS WNED 43 17.1
FOX WUTV 14 29.1
CBS WIVB 39 4.1
ABC WKWB 38 7.1
MyN WNYO 49 49.1
NBC WGRZ 33 2.1

Cristal clear signal, wish we would have more channels

NOTE:
some time looks like pixelized/delayed picture on channels 33,39

Many thanks
