Question This antenna in the attic? Phoenix metro

I'm reposting this from another forum section, was told I'd get better help here.
------------------------------
Hello everyone.

We cut the cord a few years back and used this antenna mounted on the side of the house (about 9ft from ground) and connected to all 3 tvs and had phenomenal reception. http://www.amazon.com/RCA-ANT751-Dur.../dp/B0024R4B5C
We do live in a large metro area and all of our towers are less than 30 miles away.

We are now moving into a new house, relatively same distance from all the towers (less than 30 miles) and have very little to no obstructions around us. This house actually has a ton of attic space that is easily accessible since we have spray foam insulation. The construction manager mentioned one of our neighbors mounted his "outside-sized" antenna inside his attic and has had no issues.
We are thinking of doing the same thing - mounting inside the attic.....looking at our TV report, do you all think this antenna would suffice or would you recommend something else? I ask only because we left the antenna connected at the old house so we have to purchase a new one any way. And we are looking to mainly get the channels in green....Phoenix areas is fine, dont need channels from Tucson.

Thanks again!

Your TVfool link doesn't work because it is broken in the center. Here it is from your previous thread:

The ANT751 should do it if aimed at 261 degrees magnetic, but attic attenuation is difficult to predict.

Thanks so much for responding with the correct link, much appreciated.

By the way, 261 degrees magnetic just means 261 degrees clockwise from N, correct?

It means 261 degrees on a compass. The magnetic pole of the earth is different from the actual pole, and a compass will read slightly different from a map or your GPS(?), for example. Just buy an inexpensive compass and use it to aim your antenna. http://www.amazon.com/Rothco-398-Del...ywords=compass

It's even easier than that.

Use the interactive maps feature in satellite mode and turn on the lines to transmitters. Zoom in and place the marker on your proposed mounting location and you have a ready-to-use overhead of where to aim the antenna based on immediately local landmarks.
