Need help picking the right antenna

Here's my report:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda29f958163f

I'm preparing to cut the cord and am trying to get the right antenna so I'm looking for any recommendations. My objective is to get the major networks but I'll take anything extra I can get. Also need help with which direction to point.

You've got a lot to choose from and the signals are going to be strong.

Use a Winegard HD7000R, Antennacraft C290 or Channel Master CM-3016.

Mounted outside, pointed due east, you'll not need any amplifier to drive several TVs.

I wish everyone had such easy reception conditions.

Super Simple Reception Situation.

That will receive , Many , many , many , many , many , many , many , Digital Tv stations/channels.

Above the roof install a Winegard HD7000R antenna aimed at about 75 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Use a Winegard DS3000 , J type antenna mount.

Instal the HD7000R antenna Above the Peak of the Roof in such a manner that the reception is not blocked by the roof and house in the directions of , east / north east , north , west.

The Digital Tv signals are Strong and Easy to Receive.

No antenna system amplifier is required.

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a simple common 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a simple common 3 way splitter.

For 4 Tv's connected use a simple common 4 way splitter.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , do a good job of , absorbing , multi-path / reflecting , blocking , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv Reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and house.

It is best to install the HD7000R antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.

As always , attics and the inside of buildings Are Not a reception friendly environment and Never Will Be a reception friendly environment.

Attenuation , electric/electronic interference , multi-path reflections - signals bouncing all around , blocking , Tv reception.

__________

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select , 'Air Channels' / 'Antenna Channels'.
