Dallas-Ft. Worth market updates (one more)

As Lt. Columbo used to say, "...one more thing..." for the burgeoning Dallas-Ft. Worth market.

KLDT/55 (RF-39) is no longer a mere 126 kW. In September 2010, they filed a 302 to cover the big, shiny new 1,000 kW non-DA facility operating at 509.3 meters.

At my location (41 miles north of the Cedar Hill antenna farm), that new plant packs the best signal in the market (according to the Sencore power indicator).

This is a tough market to keep updated since it's still very much in a state of flux and changes occur frequently. As mentioned in my earlier post, when the trio of KTVT, KTXA and KPFW finally build out their final facilities, Dallas-Ft. Worth out to become stable. Until then, it's like the DTV transition keeps going here. :-)
