Antenna Suggestion

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...f1f02f12228756

The TV is in the basement. I have had indoor antenna connected with marginal results. I'm looking for different solutions. I'm considering trying attic antenna.
Thanks!

If your indoor antenna is in the basement it's unlikely to give you great reception. The fact that you are below grade will block much/all of the signal.

The first test I'd try would be to out the antenna in a basement window that can 'see' towards the west northwest (230 degrees on a compass). Aim and re-scan and record what you get (real channel and quality).

The second test I'd try would to get a pre-made coax cable (one with connectors installed) and an adapter (female to female) to act as an extension cord for the antenna and then to put the antenna outside and aim at 230 degrees. Aim and re-scan and record what you get (real channel and quality).

You can also try indoors anywhere above ground (though that won't be as good as having the antenna outside).
