Help for antanna setup in La Crescenta

I want to get off of the cable and go back to what I had before I moved here. Pure HDTV signal from local channels.
Not the ideal situation for antenna setup, I am in the hills.
Here is my analysis:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...d243bd5f0f958c

I was thinking about roof mounted 7694P it would be about 30 feet up.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Should I go with a rotator to pick up those signals in other direction from LA? Should I not go with a 7694P? and go with a DB8? I'm going a bit nuts thinking about this. Anyway,
I really want to get clear signal of a CBS, NBC, and FOX channels for football season, bonus for all others KTLA, PBS, San Diego channels, etc.

The DB8E is an excellent UHF only option. Looking at the list of real channels in use, you would likely miss out on the signals broadcast on real channels 2 through 13 if you opted for the DB8E.

Reliable reception of San Diego from over 100 miles away is an unrealistic expectation. There are problems due to distance and other TV signals on the same channels.

I'd consider the HD7694P to be viable, but I'd have no guilt using an HD7698P or the similar Antennacraft HBU-44 or even HBU-55. You're not far from Mt. Wilson but there's a bunch of rock and dirt blocking your line of site. These antennas are designed to receive real channels 7 through 69. If you want to go after the signals in the CH-2 through CH-6 band, consider an all channel antenna such as the Winegard HD7084P or similar size units from Antennacraft and Channel Master.
